Our advising theme is YOU are WISE and we hope that your time with us will fulfill that promise in new and exciting ways as you learn and grow as a student. I invite you to explore our wide variety of outstanding academic programs that prepare you for a lifetime of personal discovery and professional achievement.
As an undergraduate student you get to choose from many majors, minors and concentrations, from biochemistry to entrepreneurship, from cybersecurity to data analytics, from theater to nursing, and much more.

Our academic supports coupled with career discovery provide the resources you need to be successful during and after your time at Wise.
Beyond the classroom you will find amazing opportunities to participate in student life experiences like clubs and organizations, events, concerts, movies on the lawn, sky diving, and more. A member of the NCAA Division II, we cheer on our UVA Wise Cavaliers (#GoCavsGo) as they compete in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball. Our campus is nestled in the southwest Virginia Mountains in one of the most beautiful regions of the country where you can take advantage of our outdoor recreation experiences or explore on your own.
