BIO 3330 - Conservation Biology


Credit(s) 3

An introduction to the theoretical and applied aspects of the preservation of biological diversity. The emphasis will be on the ecological and evolutionary background to species and habitat conservation, current threats to biodiversity, and evaluation of conservation efforts. Special emphasis will be placed upon the understanding and discussing of the current primary literature in this discipline.

Prerequisites
BIO 2040  or BIO 2050  
Modality: Three lecture hours.
