Liberal Arts and Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Pre-K-12 Teacher Licensure, B.A.

The major is designed for students seeking careers in health and physical education who will apply for a Virginia teaching endorsement. Students must be admitted to the Teacher Education Program and pass all state and/or College mandated tests. All health and physical education teacher licensure majors are required to complete the 51-53 credit hours of Liberal Arts Core requirements in addition to all requirements in the major. A minimum grade of C- is required for all major courses. BIO 1010 /BIO 1011 , BIO 1020 /BIO 1021 , MTH 1010 or higher, and PSY 1100 are required Liberal Arts Core courses for this major.
