BIO 3120 - Animal Physiology

Credit(s) 4

An examination of digestion and molecular transport of materials, excretion, muscle activity, gas exchange, endocrine mechanisms, and neural mechanisms responsible for maintaining organismal homeostasis. In addition, how these homeostatic mechanisms relate to an organism’s ecology and evolution will be discussed.

Prerequisites
BIO 2010 and BIO 2015
Modality: Three lecture hours.
Lab: Three laboratory hours.
