A single-semester, non-mathematical introduction to economics. Topics include fundamental concepts of economics; principles of free enterprise and capitalism; prices in a market economy; the market model of supply and demand; the distribution of income in the United States; the circular flow of income and expenditures; macroeconomic policy goals; fiscal and monetary policy; and the role of government in the economy.
