MIS 3120 - Information Systems

Management Information Systems (MIS) represents a collection of technologies, people, and processes that manage the information and communication resources of an organization. Information systems encompass any interactions between organized data and people. This course focuses on technology components and concepts of management information systems, approaches to systems design and development, security, ethics, and internet-worked enterprises; and how to leverage these to support organizational, strategic and operational goals. Additional emphasis on database design and utilization.

CSC 1010  with a C or better
