MIS 4500 - Data Visualization

This course will introduce a general methodology to design effective visualizations. Students will learn how to design, build, and evaluate visualizations for different types of data, disciplines, and domains. Focus will be on non-spatial data and their inherent visualization requirements. Focus also on industry standards and applied techniques in practical scenarios. No graphics background is assumed or required. Cross-listed with DSC 4500 .
