PHY 1000 - Introduction to Astronomy I

The first year of a year-long introductory course in astronomy. This semester covers the celestial sphere, the formation of the solar system, the interiors, surfaces and atmospheres of the planets, the formation of moons and ring systems, the asteroids, comets, and Pluto.
