A study of topics from the foundations of early-education mathematics, with emphasis on problem solving. Topics include: elementary arithmetic, steps in problem solving; elementary number theory; teaching techniques for topics in the elementary school math classroom. (MTH 2020 does not satisfy the Liberal Arts Core requirement or count toward a major or minor in mathematics.)
