BIO 4980 - Biology Seminar I

An introduction to communication strategies employed by professionals in the biological sciences. Students will learn how to research, identify, and consume peer-reviewed scientific literature in the biological sciences. Students will develop written professional documents such as curriculum vitae, cover letters, and personal statements. Students will develop oral presentation skills through mock interviews and a formal public presentation on biological topics using appropriate technology.
