COM 4300 - Nonverbal Communication & Listening

This course provides students with an in-depth examination of the importance of nonverbal behavior in the communication process and its role in effective listening. The course will examine the roots of nonverbal communcation; the impact of different modes of nonverbal communcation (eye-contact, facial expressions, gestures, etc.); and how to improve one’s listening skills with an increased awareness of nonverbal communication.
