ENT 3050 - Foundations Of Entrepreneurship

This course serves as an introduction to the field of entrepreneurship. Students will learn to use the most current tools and frameworks in entrepreneurship to identify, assess and capitalize on the right new venture opportunity. The course also provides an opportunity for students to hypothesize, test and refine their value propositions and create a business model canvas using the customer development process. It is appropriate for students with entrepreneurial ambitions, or who are interested in careers that may require them to work closely with entrpreneurs, or new venture consulting in the areas of marketing branding, supply chain and strategy, regional economic development, and higher education.
