FIN 1020 - Personal Finance

An introduction to financial planning. Topics include money management and personal budgets, taxes, banking relationships, credit, real estate, insurance, investment vehicles such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds, and retirement. This course is also designed for students/teachers interested in teaching financial literacy at the K-12 level. All course topics will help prepare students/teachers for future classroom dealings with personal finance related issues.
