GLG 3040 - Low Temperature Geochemistry

An introduction to the chemical processes affecting the distribution and pathways of chemical compounds in natural waters, both marine and non-marine. Emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals of water-rock interactions and elemental cycles over a broad range of conditions at or near the earth’s surface. Offered alternate years.
