MIS 4350 - Cloud & Collaboration Computing

Credit(s) 3

The course presents a top-down view of cloud computing, from applications and administration to programming and infrastructure. Topics include: overview of cloud computing, cloud systems, parallel processing, distributed storage systems, virtualization, security, and multi-core operating systems. Students will study popular cloud solutions (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc). Students will apply what they learn in projects and programs executed with Amazon Web Services. Cross-listed with DSC 4350 .

Prerequisites
CSC 2180  or CSC 2240  with a C or better
