MUS 1251 - Class Piano I

Credit(s) 1

This course is intended for music major instrumentalists or singers with no previous piano experience. Students will develop their general musicianship through the studey of elementary keyboard skills. Skills in sight reading, improvisation, transposition, harmonization, interpretation, and basic piano technique will be covered. Students must read rhythmic notation and pitch notation in at least treble or bass clef before enrolling.
