PHI 3200 - Environmental Ethics

The human relationship to the environment is examined from two perspectives: one’s relationship to locality (a special focus will be given to Appalachian communities and places) and the global nature of environmental problems. Specific topics will include land use, planning, energy production and consumption, population, and the relation between environmental social justice.
