Analog and digital electronics for scientific applications. Topics include Thevenin’s Theorem, capacitors and inductors, high/low pass filters, semiconductors, transistors, operational amplifiers, Boolean logic, logic gates, logic circuits, and analog to digital conversion.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
MTH 2040  and PHY 1020  or PHY 3020  
Modality: Three lecture hours per week.
Lab: Three laboratory hours per week.
