THT 2910 - Haunting Houses

This course explores how to design, set-up, and operate a financially successful haunted house. Through our time in class, we will research and explore different types of haunted attractions and scare techniques. Through practical experience and hands-on projects, students will gain a better understanding of the business, design, technical aspects, costume/wardroom, theatrical and special effect areas needed for a successful haunted house. In this class, your newfound knowledge and skills will be tested and further refined by working with the community on developing, implementing and operating a successful Haunted Attraction.
