SPA 4220 - Keys to Eloquent Writing in Spanish

This course will focus on the practice of advanced writing in Spanish. In order to successfully improve their writing, students will read and analyze a variety of models (literary texts, journalistic texts. expository writing, among others). There will be a strong emphasis on writing as a process. Drafting, revising, editing, and preparing reverse outlines will be encouraged in the writing of short stories as well as expository and argumentative essays. This course will also encourage creative writing while students practice and improve their Spanish grammar and stylistic devices.
