SPECIAL EDUCATION K-12

Students wishing to obtain initial licensure and endorsement (K-12) in Special Education General Curriculum must complete the requirements for the Liberal Arts and Science Degree Program, including their choice of concentration and the professional studies requirements for special education certification.

Liberal Arts and Sciences Core Requirements

The completion of the following core requirements will satisfy the liberal arts core of general education.

ENG XXXX - Literature (chosen from ENG 2120 through ENG 3280 ) or literature courses taught by foreign language faculty. Non-literature courses will not satisfy this requirement. Credit(s): 3

Exemption from this requirement may be made by demonstrating on a placement test a proficiency equivalent to one year of college language study and/or by successful completion of a foreign language numbered 1030.
