ENT 4500 - Advanced Topics In Entrepreneurship

This course focuses on the practice of entrepreneurship. It requires students to test value proposition hypotheses through scientific experimentation while at the same time exploring design thinking for complex problem solving. Concepts relating to financial and legal issues and their implications for entrepreneurs are also key elements. Students will develop skills to build their revenue, business, operational and financing models while weaving them into the financial statements for their entrepreneural venture. Skill in networking, marketing, and pitching the new venture idea in entrepreneurship competitions and to investors is developed through assignments and case studies.
